Motherhood… the most monumental event in your life.

 

As a first time Mom I soon realized how overwhelming it could be planning for all of the baby’s needs. Although many things were suggested to me as “must haves,” I later found many of them to be useless “fluff.”

I soon found my day was revolving around 2 and 3 hour increments, feeding time. With the baby constantly in my arms, the pressure was causing numbness and fatigue. That has brought me to where I am today. I designed a cushioned sleeve that I wore which created a snuggly, cozy nest for the baby. It provided comfort for my arm and eliminated perspiration as well. My baby felt safe and secure and I knew that no matter who was holding her, she was always in a cozy, clean familiar place. I took it with me when I traveled across country by air. The baby slept for hours in my arms and other mothers on the airplane wanted to know where to buy one.

The Cuddle Sleeve™ has become a “must have” whenever I feed my baby. It fits easily into my diaper bag, and travels with me everywhere, unlike other lap pillows which are not portable. (Of course, Grammy wanted her own!)
